Wedding Eve Party

Yes its been a long time since we have posted an update. No particular reason other than its more fun when there are pictures and posting photos can be a hassle.

Everything is pretty much the same but very different. Little Ely is growing up. Big Ely is working. The weiner dogs are getting older and are still crazy. The economy is going to hell and healthcare got a first class seat. So my job requires greater attention as we quickly try to respond to the dramatic changes in reimbursement, patient volumes (dropping), and trying to manage expenses all while trying to motivate employees to do more with less. I'm glad I have the chance to be a part of healthcare at this crazy time, but I worry more now than ever since I have a child to take care of.

Oh, one other thing-Ely and I decided to get married. We got married on January 31st. we had a big sledding and game party at the ski chalet the night before.

The photographer is a colorful local. She took over 1000 pictures!!

I am quite pleased to say that the chocolate mocha cake was made by yours truly. It was a bit crooked-but a mighty fine effort.

finally got a red tomato from the garden. we have dozens of tomatoes and they are all green. have "put up" almost 20 quarts of raspberries-jams and sauce. yum

had his first visit to a daycare. so far so good. Big Ely stayed with him the whole time. They took a field trip to the park and had pizza delivered. Will have him go another day with us there. Then have him stay an hour or so by himself another day. Hopefully he will get used to it.

He has become quite personable. But he does need to spend time with more kids.

August

Eventhough the vegetable garden hasn't fully hit its stride-summer is winding down. It has been a great summer. Good weather and fun stuff. I have included some photos to bore you all. The flower garden is looking good. We dug up our courtyard and put in a small garden and plan to put down pavers.

We had overturned the pool to empty it. YKW was in need of water. Make sure and turn up the volume.

Yes We Have No Bananas

Here is Ely giving the sign for banana. We have been keeping the bananas in the fridge (yuck) because of fruit flies (yuck).

He knew to go to the fridge and whine for them there.

Update

Long time since updating.
Lets see. Was sick for about a week, then took a week vacation to Florida to see the grandparents.

Ninnimuggins did great on the trip, but turned into another child once we got to Grandma and Grandpa's house. He would not let anyone else touch him or sometimes even look at him. But have deduced that it was because he was getting ready to walk completely on his own.

Also had his first birthday there. Had a party with everyone including Auntie and Uncle Sid.
